Gallery Grip was born from a small but persistent frustration:
hanging art shouldn’t be nerve-wracking or daunting.

I was tired of measuring, re-measuring, and making unnecessary holes just to get a frame almost right. I wanted a simple, flexible way to adjust artwork after it’s on the wall, so spaces can evolve, just like we do.

I’m Melanie Courtois.

And I had an idea.

An idea that does more than just hang art; it also supports the artists who create it. It’s called Gallery Grip.


I have always believed that the pieces on your walls tell your story.
They showcase your passions, memories, and expressions, and should be
displayed beautifully. 

But when it comes to how to hang art? Well, there’s nothing beautiful about that.

During a particularly chaotic experience involving my bad mood and an
uncooperative level, I thought, there’s got to be a better way.

So, I got to work. Sketching, testing, and tweaking right from my basement. That’s how Gallery Grip was born.
